Cancel an accommodation reservation

Your plans have changed and now you need to cancel your reservation. No problem. You can access your Trips to cancel or make changes to your reservation.

Request a refund during your stay

 

If you have a problem during your stay, you can ask your host to fix it, request a partial refund, or request to cancel your reservation for a full refund. It's important to submit your request within 24 hours of noticing the issue and your host will have 1 hour to respond. If the host refuses or doesn't respond, you can ask Airbnb to step in to help.

 

 

If your host cancels your reservation

Although rare, sometimes a host may have to cancel a reservation. We understand that this can significantly impact your plans. Don't worry, as all Sami B&B bookings include insurance for guests, support for guests who have issues with their booking, including cancellations initiated by hosts up to 30 days before check-in.

What to expect if your reservation is canceled?

When a cancellation occurs, you will receive an email with all the details, including your refund information. The refund period varies depending on your payment method. If cancellation occurs within 30 days of check-in, we will help find a similar space at a comparable price, depending on availability. As always, you can contact us if you need further help.

Offline or cash payments are a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in removal from Sami B&B.

 

Off-platform payments make it harder to protect your information and increase your risk of falling victim to fraud or other security issues.

 

 

When will you pay for your reservation?

You just made a reservation. Congratulations! And now? Your payment method will be charged once your reservation is confirmed (excluding security deposits). This also applies to Instant Booking. Regardless of how far in advance your reservation is made, the host does not receive payment until 24 hours after your scheduled check-in. This gives both of you time to check that everything is as expected.

Extended stays

For reservations of 28 nights or more, you will be charged for the first month as soon as you receive confirmation. Subsequently, the remaining amount will be charged to you in monthly installments. How to prepare everything?

Creating an account is simple and free of charge! We need to know some basic information and then we'll ask you to submit your government-issued ID, which we don't share with hosts or anyone else. Send us an email with these informations and we create your account. Now you're ready to book!

 

 

Basic information about accommodation

If you are interested in hosting in your space, we will guide you step by step through the process. To offer experiences, simply consult our quality standards, create an ad and send your idea for analysis showing how attractive it is (through a form or short video, if the experience is online).
